Holosbiblion Reader Circle
You are welcome before you buy anything
The Holosbiblion Reader Circle is the community wing of Holosbiblion. It brings together people exploring the Bible they know, the wider writings preserved around it, and the continuing work of assembling, translating, arranging and documenting the Holosbiblion library.
You do not need to own an edition, accept every included work as canonical, or arrive with expert knowledge. You may begin with a question, a familiar book, an unfamiliar title, or the free Starter Guide. The purpose of the Circle is to help readers learn, compare, ask and grow without pretending that every tradition begins from the same place.
What brings us together
Holosbiblion readers may come from Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Ethiopian and other Christian backgrounds, or from academic, historical and personal interest in biblical literature. What unites the Circle is not forced agreement. It is a shared willingness to read carefully, examine sources, respect differences and continue the conversation honestly.
What the Reader Circle is today
The Reader Circle is currently a free, email-led reading community supported by three public archives:
- The Reader Circle Journal — reading notes, reflections and community publishing.
- The Complete Bible Q&A — clear answers about the edition, chronology, sources and wider canon.
- The Holosbiblion Premise — the ideas, research questions and publishing vision behind the project.
It is not a closed forum, a church or an ecclesiastical authority. As the community grows, its forms of participation may grow with it.
Three ways to take part now
- Read: explore the Journal, Q&A and Premise archives freely.
- Begin: download the free Lost Books Starter Guide or choose a path through the Holosbiblion Library.
- Contribute: submit a question, proposed topic, correction report, reading difficulty, source observation, reader response or honest review through Contact & Support.
What members can expect
- Reading guidance: practical routes into unfamiliar books and the chronological library.
- Publication updates: meaningful news about editions, corrections, study resources and future releases.
- Source awareness: plain explanations of chronology, canonicity, editorial method and documentary evidence.
- Study prompts: questions and thematic connections for personal or group reading.
- Opportunities to contribute: invitations to share questions, observations and feedback that can improve future community resources.
How the store and the community support one another
The store makes completed work available: the flagship edition provides the text, the Guided Reading System provides orientation, the workbooks support thematic study, and the Companion Source Record provides documentary context. Revenue from these products helps sustain future editions, reading tools, source records and community publishing.
The community gives that work life. Readers test the resources in real use, raise questions, identify difficulties, share insights and help show which explanations and tools are needed next. A purchase is therefore one way to support and enter the journey—but it is not the only way to belong.
Our community standard
Discussion should remain lawful, relevant and respectful. Readers may disagree about canon, chronology and interpretation without attacking one another. Spam, harassment, infringement, abuse and unrelated promotion may be removed.
